What You Will Do

  • Operate dishwashing tasks by cleaning dishes, utensils, and kitchenware manually or with commercial dishwashers.
  • Maintain kitchen hygiene by sanitising surfaces, countertops, and food prep areas, while handling waste disposal responsibly.
  • Support chefs with straightforward food preparation duties such as peeling, chopping, and slicing ingredients.
  • Help manage inventory by receiving, storing, and organising kitchen supplies and ingredients.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards by keeping the kitchen tidy and ensuring equipment functions properly.

Candidate Profile

  • No mandatory formal education, though a high school diploma or equivalent is advantageous.
  • Physical endurance to stand for long periods and handle lifting heavy items.
  • Strong focus on detail and ability to follow directions precisely.
  • Effective listening, communication, and teamwork capabilities.
  • Basic understanding of kitchen equipment and hygiene practices is beneficial.
