Job Overview and Responsibilities

We are seeking dedicated Kitchen Crew members to join our team at Day One Pte. Ltd. in Singapore. Key duties include preparing and cooking meals in line with established service standards and protocols.

• Conduct mise en place tasks during kitchen opening and closing hours.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of all food preparation areas.
• Wash and properly store utensils and dishes after use.
• Organize, store, and distribute ingredients as required.
• Adhere to recipe standards ensuring quality and presentation of dishes.
• Follow portion control guidelines as practiced by chefs.
• Prepare guest orders promptly and efficiently.
• Monitor and care for kitchen equipment to avoid damage and schedule regular maintenance to extend lifespan.
• Perform food preparation tasks like washing, peeling, chopping, cutting, and cooking various menu items.
• Manage rubbish disposal and refuse removal on a consistent basis.
• Clean kitchen tools, equipment, floors, and surrounding areas thoroughly.
• Carry out any other related duties as assigned by supervisors.
