Role Overview
We are looking for a creative and motivated person to join the Kitchen & Bathroom Showroom team in Southland. This permanent full-time role offers 40 hours each week in a busy retail setting, where you will help customers turn their home ideas into practical and attractive spaces.
The position suits someone who enjoys design work, customer interaction, and solving problems creatively. You will work with customers to shape tailored solutions for kitchens, bathrooms, laundries, and wardrobes.
Working Pattern
This is a full-time role covering 40 hours per week. The roster includes weekdays and one weekend day.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with customers to understand their needs and design goals.
- Create practical and stylish concepts for kitchens, bathrooms, laundries, and wardrobes.
- Deliver friendly, helpful service throughout the customer journey.
- Use strong attention to detail to ensure accurate design and product solutions.
- Work collaboratively with the showroom team in a fast-moving retail environment.
- Manage time well and meet deadlines for customer projects.
About You
The ideal candidate brings a welcoming approach, a genuine focus on customer service, and a positive attitude. You should enjoy working with others, communicate clearly, and be comfortable balancing multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy.
No previous experience is needed, as long as you are eager to learn. A background using design software would be helpful, but it is not essential because full training will be provided.
