These offerings include diverse options such as Private Villas, Apartments, Houseboats, Treehouses, and Tents/Camps, catering to exclusive and shared accommodation experiences.
Role Overview
The Key Account Manager position within the Alternate Accommodation business is pivotal for driving growth among key chain accounts. The individual will maintain regular engagement with key stakeholders within these chains, provide critical business insights, and coordinate execution of strategic initiatives by collaborating closely with internal teams such as category, revenue, and marketing.
Responsibilities
- Develop and nurture strategic relationships with senior management of alternative accommodation chains to ensure sustained business performance.
- Collaborate with partner chains by offering expert industry knowledge, performance metrics, and strategic guidance.
- Lead on-field engagement with regional decision-makers to shape future offerings and customer experiences.
- Work with partners to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities within MakeMyTrip's ecosystem.
- Ensure that property listings are effectively marketed with up-to-date, compelling content.
- Monitor monthly production reports, provide feedback, and organize market visits and review meetings to drive continuous enhancement.
- Conduct training sessions for partners on platform tools to maximize their benefits.
- Develop market analysis reports including competitive set analysis to inform growth strategies.
- Demonstrate strong negotiation abilities to establish, manage, and close significant partnerships.
- Optimize inventory by maintaining year-round availability and competitive pricing for the properties.
- Design innovative marketing strategies to boost property presence in the market.
- Secure exclusive deals that provide a competitive advantage for the company.
Qualification & Experience
- A master's degree from a reputed institution.
- 2 to 6 years of experience in sales, travel trade, key account management, contracting, or B2B sales.
- Preferable experience managing multiple partner accounts.
- Proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint.
