What you will do
- Partner with the Area Manager to shape business plans that support revenue targets.
- Track competitor activity and market direction to build effective growth strategies.

- Support and manage the account team attached to each client.
- Lead negotiations, agree contract terms, and define delivery timelines.
- Review customer data to strengthen relationship management and account planning.
- Expand existing partnerships and develop new customer opportunities.
- Own clinical and sales outcomes for Masimo products in the assigned territory, including quota attainment, contract wins, and installed-base growth.
- Drive account activity from qualification through demo, clinical evaluation, and closure, while building strategies with the Area Business Manager and/or Country Manager.
- Act as a subject matter expert on pulse oximetry, pulse CO-Oximetry, patient monitoring, brain function monitoring, regional oximetry, and capnography.
- Position Masimo solutions including SET, Rainbow, and ROOT as preferred standards in OR, ICU, and broader hospital settings.

- Influence customers using competing multiparametric monitoring systems to transition to Masimo technologies and secure long-term agreements.
- Maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and clinical stakeholders such as anesthesia, ICU, neonatology, and ER groups.
- Support awareness-building activities such as trade shows, regional symposiums, competitive analysis, and advertising.

Education and experience
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, paired with a medical or clinical background, is required. The role calls for at least 5 years of experience in direct critical care, NICU, PICU, operating room, and emergency medical systems environments; neonatal and pediatric exposure is especially valuable. A strong record in medical device sales and patient monitoring is highly desirable.
Skills and working style
The right candidate should be able to communicate value-based solutions and train stakeholders in highly competitive healthcare markets. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, organization, and presentation skills are important. This role also needs a confident self-starter with a practical, hands-on approach, the ability to work with minimal supervision, and experience in structured as well as fast-moving startup-like environments. Advanced software use, project coordination, and presentation capability are expected.
Language and travel requirements
English fluency, both spoken and written, is required. French is an added advantage. The role involves travel across Sub-Saharan Africa, estimated at around 60%.
