About the Role

Corsair is seeking a motivated Key Account Manager to drive revenue growth and enhance strategic retail partnerships within the United States. This role is pivotal in leading customer-facing sales initiatives, owning account strategy, sales performance, and forecasting to expand distribution, improve sell-through, and achieve profitable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead revenue expansion and consistently achieve or surpass sales targets for designated retail accounts.
  • Formulate and implement account development strategies to broaden distribution, boost sell-through rates, and increase market share.
  • Effectively manage trade and marketing investments to maximize returns, support promotional activities, and accelerate sales momentum.
  • Ensure optimal in-stock levels and foster operational alignment to safeguard revenue opportunities.
  • Cultivate robust relationships with key stakeholders, both at executive and day-to-day levels, to elevate the brand within the region and with strategic retail partners.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business prospects within both existing and potential accounts.
  • Develop and execute the sales strategy for assigned retail accounts, ensuring alignment between customer objectives and company growth priorities.
  • Coordinate channel marketing initiatives in sync with retailer promotional schedules, seasonal events, and peak sales periods to maximize revenue impact.
  • Provide accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales performance forecasts, tracking, and analysis, with clear internal updates on potential risks, opportunities, and progress against targets.
  • Lead customer meetings with well-defined objectives, compelling commercial narratives, and diligent follow-up on action items.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive assortment review presentations, incorporating sales trends, competitive intelligence, category data, and retailer-specific recommendations.
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and promotional efforts, collaborating with channel marketing to maintain a strong market position.
  • Identify untapped market potential, assortment gaps, and strategic growth avenues within assigned accounts.
  • Establish and nurture trusted customer relationships across various organizational levels; undertake travel as necessary to support account development and execution.
  • Collaborate closely with reseller and distribution teams to ensure customer requirements are met and business opportunities are capitalized upon efficiently.
  • Facilitate clear communication among internal and external stakeholders, influencing decisions and ensuring alignment on business priorities.
  • Maintain professional interactions that embody company values and foster enduring business success.
  • Promptly relay store-level changes, account updates, and field insights to relevant internal teams.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated high motivation, reliability, and a results-driven approach with a strong sense of ownership.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, account management, product management, supply chain, or other relevant commercial fields.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Proficiency in analytical tasks, with the ability to interpret sales data, discern trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, including proficiency with charts, pivot tables, lookups, and formulas.
  • Proven track record in building customer rapport, influencing key decision-makers, and executing effective negotiations.
  • Prior experience and technical understanding of the PC gaming or PC hardware market is advantageous.
  • A genuine passion for technology and a proactive stance on staying informed about product advancements and market dynamics.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a process-oriented mindset, capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thorough follow-through on all tasks.
