Role Overview

The Junior Web Designer position is a permanent, full-time role aimed at enhancing the design and usability of internal financial systems. The role involves ensuring that complex data is presented in an accessible, clear manner for decision-makers, emphasizing functionality and clarity over flashy design. This fully remote opportunity supports collaboration with senior consultants through digital platforms and offers a competitive salary aligned with entry-level experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior consultants to develop layouts for internal financial dashboards and reporting portals.
• Emphasize clarity in data presentation, designing charts and tables for optimal readability.
• Maintain a consistent visual identity across multiple portals used by the logistics client.
• Create detailed documentation of design assets to facilitate smooth handover to the client.
• Translate technical specifications into visual mockups with standard design software.
• Provide assistance in basic frontend configuration to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
• Refine designs by incorporating feedback from finance users.
• Guarantee that all internal web pages adhere to fundamental accessibility and usability criteria.

Candidate Requirements

• Formal education or equivalent practical experience in web or graphic design.
• Basic understanding of HTML and CSS to comprehend web environment limitations.
• Experience using design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Preference for minimalist, functional design aesthetics over decorative styles.
• Some hands-on experience in website creation or design, even if limited to academic or personal projects.
• High attention to detail, particularly regarding alignment, typography, and color consistency.
• Ability to adhere to established brand guidelines while recommending feasible enhancements.
• Professional approach to remote work, including effective communication and timely delivery.
