Role Overview

The Junior Videographer & Editor will play a key role in producing a high volume of video, static, and motion content to support Lyka's paid advertising campaigns on platforms such as Meta, YouTube, and TikTok. Working closely with the Senior Creative Producer and Creative Performance Lead, this role involves translating ideas and scripts into performance-driven creative assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture and edit high-quality videos tailored for paid media channels.
• Produce diverse content formats including edits, static images, motion graphics, cut-downs, and platform-specific adaptations to facilitate ongoing campaign testing.
• Collaborate with the Creative Performance Lead to realize concepts and scripts effectively.
• Support production shoots by managing camera equipment, lighting, audio, and onsite assistance.
• Create multiple asset variations to fuel creative experimentation.
• Manage motion graphics, captions, subtitles, basic animations, and final finishing touches.
• Organize project files and media libraries to ensure efficient post-production workflows.
• Maintain Lyka’s quality and technical standards for final assets.
• Stay current with social media trends, editing techniques, and emerging AI-assisted tools to enhance content quality and speed.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in videography, video editing, or digital content production.
• Proficient with Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Creative Suite; After Effects knowledge is a plus but not mandatory.
• Prior experience creating short-form social and digital advertising content.
• Understanding of media encoding, compression, and export workflows across multiple channels.
• Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and creating platform-native paid social content.
• Comfortable operating cameras, lighting, and audio equipment in production settings.
• Able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Receives and implements feedback efficiently, iterates quickly.
• Keen interest in new tools, trends, and AI-supported editing techniques.
• Motivated by outcomes and performance rather than just visual polish.
