Job description

Role overview

We are looking for energetic, committed, and enthusiastic Junior Swim Coaches to become part of a growing coaching team. In this position, you will help deliver high-quality swim instruction, encourage water safety, and support swimmer progress across school and club programmes.

School programme

This track is centred on swimming lessons delivered in a school setting. You will work with swimmers of different ages and skill levels, with a stronger focus on younger children.

School programme working hours

  • Usual schedule: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Monday to Friday, depending on programme needs

Club programme

This track concentrates on club and leisure sessions, teaching children and young swimmers aged roughly 3 to 13 years across Learn to Swim, Technique Development, and Technique Enhancement stages.

Club programme working hours

  • Usual schedule: 2:30 PM to 8:30 PM
  • Includes weekday afternoon and evening sessions, based on programme requirements

Responsibilities

  • Conduct swimming lessons that are safe, engaging, and effective.
  • Work in line with programme plans and coaching standards.
  • Help swimmers build confidence, technique, and water safety awareness.
  • Track swimmer development and share helpful feedback.
  • Keep attendance and lesson records accurate and up to date.
  • Maintain a positive and safe environment throughout sessions.
  • Prepare equipment before lessons and pack it away afterwards.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with swimmers, parents, schools, and team members.
  • Support swim assessments, events, and other programme-related activities when needed.
  • Follow safeguarding rules, health and safety procedures, and company policies at all times.

Requirements

  • Certification in swim coaching or swimming instruction.
  • Lifeguard qualification and/or First Aid certification.
  • Previous experience in Learn to Swim or competitive swimming programmes.
  • Background working with schools, swim clubs, or aquatic centres.

This is a full-time, onsite role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates.
