Job description
About the Company
FAKTOR 3 AG stands as one of Germany's leading independent communications agencies. We collaborate with brands and organizations that shape discourse in areas such as technology, mobility, healthcare, industry, media, and food.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Junior Social Media Manager (all genders) to join our dedicated team in Hamburg. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn daily and develop social media management skills from the ground up. You will be integrated into a small, motivated team, actively participating in day-to-day tasks and progressively taking on greater responsibilities across campaigns, concepts, and client work.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to brainstorming and developing ideas for continuous communication, social media campaigns, and collaborations with content creators.
- Assist with campaign execution, including editorial planning, content creation, and community management.
- Support reporting activities by collecting data, analyzing results, and deriving actionable recommendations.
- Aid the team in creator management through researching suitable UGC creators, preparing briefing materials, and coordinating approvals and content reviews.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments such as creative, video, and strategy teams, ensuring deadlines and tasks are managed effectively.
- Monitor platform algorithms, content trends, and introduce innovative ideas to the team.
- Utilize AI tools in daily workflows and explore evolving content creation methods in the AI era.
Candidate Profile
- Some hands-on experience in social media management or content marketing, gained through internships, student jobs, or personal projects.
- A solid understanding of various social platforms ranging from Instagram and TikTok to YouTube, including insight into effective content strategies for each.
- A strong desire to learn, ask questions, accept feedback constructively, and pursue professional growth.
- A methodical and dependable approach to work, capable of handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Preferably some familiarity with social media planning, listening, or analytics tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Brandwatch) — though training will be provided.
- Curiosity about AI tools with an open mindset to implementing them in routine tasks.
What We Offer
- An engaging role with room for creativity and autonomy based in Hamburg, with an on-site presence expected three days a week.
- An environment that recognizes social media and content marketing as strategic disciplines rather than mere extensions of traditional PR.
- Opportunity for direct collaboration with experienced strategists, creatives, and consultants.
- Additional benefits including corporate perks, subsidies for the regional transport ticket (Deutschlandticket), access to Urban Sports, team events, and more.
