Job Overview

Diamond Trust Bank Tanzania is looking for a dedicated Junior Risk Analyst to support the evaluation and monitoring of financial and operational risks. This role involves analyzing risk-related data, preparing detailed reports, and ensuring adherence to both internal policies and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in recognizing, evaluating, and tracking operational and financial risk factors.
• Perform analysis on risk data and generate insightful reports for management.
• Contribute to the formulation and execution of risk management policies and procedures.
• Execute risk assessments and document outcomes thoroughly.
• Ensure compliance with internal control measures and external regulatory requirements.
• Work collaboratively with various departments to resolve risk concerns.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Risk Management, or related disciplines is preferred.
• Prior experience in risk analysis, financial roles, compliance, or similar fields is an advantage.
• Strong analytical abilities with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication skills coupled with strong organizational capabilities.
• Ability to independently manage multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines.
• High degree of accuracy and a strong commitment to detail.
