Job description
Role overview
This opportunity is aimed at highly motivated people who want to build strong earnings quickly in recruitment. You will be joining a Bristol-based team working with recruitment businesses that operate across the UK, EU and US in sectors such as technology, logistics and education. The role is designed for people with drive, resilience and a commercial mindset rather than formal qualifications.
No degree is needed. The focus is on attitude, confidence and the ability to sell. The starting pay is £26,000 to £28,000 per year, with commission available from the first day and set at 20% to 40%. People who work hard and embrace the role are said to reach around £55,000 in the first year, with top performers potentially earning £80,000 or more. By the second year, £80,000 is described as a realistic target for top talent.
What the job involves
You will be trained from the start in the complete 360 recruitment cycle. This includes developing client relationships, sourcing and approaching candidates, handling interview stages, negotiating offers and growing a specialist market of your own. As you gain experience, you should begin managing your own deals and clients, building a desk that grows in value over time.
The work is fast-moving, commercially focused and centred on people. Success in the role depends on building quick rapport, reading situations well and being able to close confidently. The employer sees transferable value in experience from sales floors, hospitality, front-of-house work, sport or phone-based roles.
Pay and package
- Base salary of £26,000 to £28,000 per year
- Uncapped commission from day one, at 20% to 40%
- Typical first-year earnings for strong performers of £60,000 to £80,000+
- Potential to reach £80,000+ by year two
- Monthly lunch clubs for standout performers
- International incentive travel
- Private medical cover
- Gym membership
- Company laptop and mobile phone
Growth and progression
Promotion is based entirely on performance rather than length of service. There is no fixed waiting period or rigid queue for advancement. If you deliver results, you can progress quickly. Training is provided by experienced consultants with strong billing records who are directly invested in helping you succeed.
Ideal candidate
The business is looking for candidates who are hungry to succeed and who can show they can persuade, compete and perform under pressure. Strong communication, natural relationship-building and the ability to think quickly are all important. Previous experience in sales, hospitality, front desk work, or competitive sports can all be relevant. The main requirement is a strong attitude, determination and a willingness to achieve results.
Application approach
Applicants are invited to send a CV for a private discussion. The hiring process is intended to move quickly for suitable candidates.
About the recruitment partner
The hiring partner is a specialist recruitment-to-recruitment firm that places ambitious people into leading recruitment businesses across the UK. They focus on high-quality matches, helping candidates prepare properly and find an environment where they can perform and grow from day one.
