About the role
Verse is seeking an energetic and people-oriented Junior Recruitment Consultant to join its Applications recruitment team in Perth. This is an entry-level opportunity suited to someone who enjoys connecting with people and wants to build a career in recruitment within the tech sector.
In this role, you will assist in identifying and engaging IT professionals such as software developers, testers and data analysts. You will work alongside experienced recruiters to help match candidates with opportunities across leading technology teams in Perth.
If you are keen to learn about technology recruitment, comfortable speaking with people and motivated to grow in the profession, this role offers a strong starting point.
Responsibilities
- Source suitable candidates through online search tools and platforms.
- Contact and meet candidates to understand their background, experience and career aspirations.
- Prepare accurate notes and concise summaries to assist the recruitment team.
- Partner with consultants to support the delivery of active vacancies.
- Develop a strong understanding of the Perth technology market.
Requirements
- Experience or a background in retail, marketing, advertising, commerce or a similar field.
- Well-developed written and spoken communication skills.
- Genuine interest in people, careers and the technology industry.
- Strong willingness to learn and a desire to progress professionally.
- Confidence when speaking on the phone and meeting new people.
- Exposure to LinkedIn or administrative systems is an advantage.
- Prior experience in recruitment, human resources or technology will be beneficial.
