About the Role
This position is designed for a highly organized, detail-focused person who wants to begin a career in project management. It is well suited to recent graduates or early-career candidates, and previous professional experience is not necessary. The selected candidate will help coordinate project work, keep progress on track, manage records and documents, and maintain smooth communication among stakeholders so projects are delivered successfully.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project managers with planning, coordination, and day-to-day monitoring of project tasks.
- Follow project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to help keep work on target.
- Arrange meetings and prepare agendas as well as meeting notes.
- Organize, update, and preserve project files, reports, and documentation.
- Share progress updates with internal teams and external stakeholders as needed.
- Assist with identifying risks and tracking open issues.
- Work with teams across functions to help ensure tasks are completed within deadlines.
- Help draft project progress reports and presentation materials.
- Provide general administrative and operational support when required.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree, either completed or currently being pursued, in Business Administration, Management, Project Management, Engineering, IT, or a similar discipline.
- Good organizational ability and effective time management.
- Strong spoken and written communication skills.
- Working familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Comfort handling multiple tasks in a busy, fast-moving setting.
- Strong attention to detail and sound problem-solving ability.
- Interest in learning and building project management capability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Any internship, academic, volunteer, or student leadership experience.
- Exposure to project delivery approaches such as Agile or Waterfall.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Trello, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
