Junior Project Contract Manager

About the Role

Alstom leads in the transport sector, offering a range of solutions from high-speed trains to digital mobility services, connecting cities globally while promoting greener transportation. We are seeking a Junior Project Contract Manager based in Belgrade, Serbia, to engage full-time in this dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the Contract, Claims, and Insurance Management Manual and Alstom governance policies.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining the Contract Summary regularly.
• Collaborate with the core project team to develop and implement the Contract Management Strategy Plan.
• Monitor project timelines and guarantee prompt issuance of contractual notices.
• Support creating project-specific commercial procedures.
• Prepare and oversee documentation necessary for claims and counterclaims negotiations.
• Work closely with colleagues to identify and mitigate risks and optimize claims opportunities.

Candidate Profile

• Holder of a degree in Law, Engineering, Finance, Technical Studies, Economics, or Business Sciences.
• At least one year of experience or knowledge in contract/claim management or project management is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret contract documents including terms and conditions.
• Experience in preparing routine reports and correspondence.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude and proactive working style.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
