Job description
Overview
ScrumConnect Consulting seeks a proactive and detail-oriented Junior PMO to support dynamic digital delivery teams managing projects within public sector clients. This is an ideal position for a motivated individual who anticipates challenges, acts swiftly without sacrificing governance or quality, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate directly with Delivery Managers, PMO Leads, and Account Managers to coordinate and facilitate public sector project execution.
- Maintain essential project tracking documents including project trackers, onboarding records, action logs, and risk and issue registers with up-to-date and accurate information.
- Organize and facilitate project meetings by preparing precise agendas, recording comprehensive minutes, and ensuring follow-up on action items.
- Compile and prepare governance reports, dashboards, and status updates that align with delivery standards.
- Monitor contract performance relative to agreed targets, proactively identifying and reporting risks or deviations to mitigate escalation.
- Manage collection and maintenance of contract performance data and ensure KPI tracking remains precise across multiple accounts.
- Produce comprehensive financial reports for various contracts, including burndown charts, forecasting models, and expense tracking.
- Track Purchase Orders and Statements of Work diligently across all accounts.
- Support financial administration activities such as budget monitoring, resource management, and procurement documentation.
- Analyze project and contract data to extract insights, identify trends, and highlight risks to support decision-making processes.
- Facilitate the onboarding and knowledge transfer for new consultants and permanent staff joining client accounts.
Qualifications and Skills
- Self-starter who initiates action promptly without needing continuous oversight.
- Strong commitment to seeing tasks through to completion with relentless follow-up on outstanding issues.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a methodical approach to managing data, spreadsheets, and files.
- Effective communication abilities to work confidently with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and client representatives.
- Basic understanding or interest in Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Appropriate for recent graduates or early-career professionals aiming to build expertise in delivery management.
