Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Junior IT Support Technician to provide essential day-to-day technical assistance to employees. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage a background in software development to enhance automation, scripting, and troubleshooting of business applications. It's an ideal position for individuals who thrive on both end-user support and solving technical challenges through coding.

Job Responsibilities
  • Deliver Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for both Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Install, configure, and maintain employee workstations, laptops, mobile devices, and associated peripherals.
  • Administer user accounts, manage permissions, and process access requests.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, software, networking, and connectivity.
  • Provide support for creative workflows, including troubleshooting specific creative software such as Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and C4D.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for support procedures and create knowledge base articles.
  • Assist with the deployment of software, application updates, and patch management processes.
  • Develop and maintain scripts to automate routine IT tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Support various cloud-based services, including Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and other SaaS applications.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams on the development and integration of internal tools.
  • Monitor system performance and health, escalating complex issues to senior staff as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • Possess 1-3 years of experience in IT support or a comparable educational background.
  • Demonstrate a foundational understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
  • Have prior experience supporting both Windows and macOS environments.
  • Exhibit strong troubleshooting capabilities and excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficient in using Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, managing user accounts, and endpoint management tools.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, or Bash for automation and workflow enhancement.
  • Experience with APIs, Git, and fundamental software development practices is beneficial.
  • Previous experience supporting Adobe Creative Cloud applications and creative production pipelines is advantageous.
  • Exposure to Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions like Kandji, Jamf, Mosyle, or Intune, and identity management platforms such as JumpCloud, Active Directory, or Entra ID is a plus.
  • Possess strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+ are considered a plus.
