About the Role
This position is a remote, buy-side junior investment analyst contract role supporting AI model training for a team that connects top creative and technical professionals with leading AI research organizations.
The work is designed for someone who can combine investment research discipline with strong financial analysis and clear judgment when reviewing model outputs.
Role Overview
You will help with equity and macro research, financial modeling, and quality review of AI-generated investment content. The role is part-time and expected to require 10 to 20 hours per week.
Compensation is $105 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Research equities and macroeconomic trends across different sectors to help train AI systems.
- Create and assess financial models such as DCF, comparable-company analysis, and scenario-based analysis.
- Review earnings releases, regulatory filings, and market information to improve model performance.
- Contribute to investment ideas and risk evaluations that help sharpen AI-generated responses.
- Check AI-produced financial outputs for accuracy, logic, and reasoning quality.
- Work alongside senior specialists to improve datasets and model outputs.
Requirements
Must have
- 1 to 3 years of experience in investment banking, equity research, or buy-side investing roles.
- Solid grasp of financial statements and valuation methods.
- Strong Excel skills and working knowledge of financial modeling.
- Excellent written and spoken communication abilities.
- Careful attention to detail and strong analytical discipline.
Preferred
- CFA Level I or Level II candidate.
- Background in public equities or asset management.
- Exposure to analytical tools such as Python or SQL.
