Voice Actor - CX Agent Voice Cloning (German)

About the Role

This opportunity is for a German-speaking voice actor to contribute to CX agent voice cloning work for an AI-focused client. The position is remote, part-time, and structured as a contract assignment with a weekly commitment of 5 to 10 hours. Compensation is set between $50 and $150 per hour.

The organization behind the role connects creative and technical specialists with AI research teams. The work is intended for a specific customer experience voice-cloning use case.

What You’ll Do

• Capture clean, high-quality voice recordings from a range of script types, including conversational, narrative, and instructional content.
• Speak in a clear, natural, and expressive way while managing tone, pacing, and pronunciation carefully.
• Keep the voice, accent, and delivery style consistent across different recording sessions.
• Work in line with detailed recording instructions covering the recording space, microphone arrangement, and required file format.
• Provide repeated takes when needed, adjusting emotion, emphasis, and style as requested.

Requirements

• You must be a native German speaker and currently located in Germany.
• Prior professional exposure to voice acting, dubbing, narration, podcasting, or broadcasting is required.
• You need access to a professional or close-to-professional recording setup, including a good microphone, quiet surroundings, and a pop filter or similar equipment.
• Strong control over intonation, pronunciation, and emotional expression is essential.
• You should be able to follow scripts accurately while still sounding natural.
• You must be available for 5 to 10 hours per week for the duration of the project.
• Your voice may be cloned for the client’s customer support AI agent, and the recordings will not be sold or reused beyond this specific purpose.

Preferred Background

• Experience with TTS projects, audiobooks, IVR systems, or AI voice datasets is an advantage.
• Familiarity with audio editing software such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, or Reaper is helpful.
• Ability to perform in different vocal styles, such as conversational, corporate, energetic, or calm, is preferred.
