About the Role
The Palace Company is hiring a Junior HR Business Partner to support its Vacation Club division at Moon Palace Jamaica in Ocho Rios. This role is centered on helping build memorable vacation experiences by strengthening the people side of the business. You will work closely with commercial leaders and operational teams to improve employee engagement, manage employee relations, and contribute to people strategies that support business performance.
This position is designed for someone who enjoys a lively, fast-moving commercial environment and wants to grow their career in Human Resources while supporting both leaders and employees across a broad range of HR activities.
Role Focus

- Generalist HR support, covering onboarding, employee records, payroll issue handling, recruitment for administrative roles, workforce planning, and routine HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strong working relationships with Vacation Club leaders and provide practical HR support on a daily basis.
- Guide managers through employee relations matters, performance conversations, coaching, and conflict management.
- Review HR data such as turnover, absenteeism, engagement, and staffing patterns to spot areas for improvement.
- Manage onboarding, employee paperwork, personnel administration, and payroll-related incidents.
- Assist with organizational changes and employee engagement activities.
- Help ensure adherence to company policies and Jamaican labor laws.
- Work with specialist HR teams such as Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, and Payroll to deliver a smooth employee experience.
- Continuously improve HR processes while maintaining strong service standards for internal stakeholders.

- At least 5 years of experience in Human Resources in roles such as HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, HR Business Partner, or similar.
- Prior exposure to commercial or sales-driven organizations is strongly preferred.
- Experience in Vacation Ownership, Vacation Clubs, Hospitality Sales, or other high-volume sales settings is a major advantage.
- Solid knowledge of labor law and established HR practices.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS/ERP platforms such as SAP, PeopleSoft, or comparable systems.
- Intermediate-level Microsoft Excel capability.
- Spanish language ability is highly desirable because of frequent collaboration with Spanish-speaking leaders.
