The role reports to the Senior Graphic Designer and works closely with the Creative Services Assistant Manager and other cross-functional stakeholders. It is best suited to someone who is imaginative, meticulous, eager to build skills, highly organized, and comfortable in a collaborative remote setting with a fast pace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adapt existing designs for different channels, audiences, and formats.
  • Contribute to event signage, conference collateral, sponsor materials, promotional items, and other branded items.
  • Prepare artwork and files for online use as well as print production.
  • Help edit images, refine layouts, and update existing creative assets.
  • Apply brand guidelines consistently across all communications.
  • Maintain visual alignment across campaigns, channels, and deliverables.
  • Organize brand templates, design files, image libraries, and other creative resources.
  • Support quality checks to verify accuracy, accessibility, consistency, and brand adherence.
  • Create web-ready graphics that support usability, performance, and digital marketing goals.
  • Assist with website updates, including images, graphics, and basic layout changes.
  • Prepare assets for email marketing, landing pages, online learning, and social media.
  • Optimize creative materials appropriately for web and print.
  • Work with Marketing, Communications, Education, Membership, Corporate Relations, and Events teams on organizational projects.
  • Take part in planning discussions and creative brainstorming sessions.
  • Communicate clearly about timelines, revisions, priorities, and deliverables.
  • Incorporate stakeholder feedback while keeping deadlines and business needs in view.
  • Handle several projects at once without losing attention to detail.
  • Keep project files, design assets, templates, and version history well organized.
  • Follow established creative workflows and approval steps.
  • Coordinate with printers, vendors, and outside partners when needed.
  • Help track timelines and keep deliverables on schedule.
  • Stay informed about design trends, new tools, accessibility expectations, and best practices.
  • Be willing to learn new software, techniques, and creative approaches.
  • Welcome coaching and feedback as part of ongoing professional growth.
  • Share ideas that support the organization’s mission and strategic goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Solid grasp of typography, color, composition, branding, layout, and visual storytelling.
  • Ability to turn ideas into polished, effective, and visually appealing communications.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Cloud tools, especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Experience using Canva.
  • Working familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Basic understanding of digital file types and print production.
  • Ability to juggle multiple assignments at the same time.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Comfort prioritizing competing deadlines in a remote work setting.
  • Good written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and respond well to feedback.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to balance creative options, business needs, and brand rules.
  • Self-starter who shows initiative, flexibility, and a focus on continuous improvement.
