About the role
CollegeSearch is looking for a creative Remote Junior Graphic Designer to join its design team. The role focuses on producing visually appealing content that supports marketing and e-commerce activity. The right candidate should have a strong eye for aesthetics, awareness of current digital design trends, and comfort working with AI-assisted design tools. This position is suited to someone who wants to develop professionally in a fast-moving environment while contributing to projects seen across multiple digital channels.
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or comparable software.
- Familiarity with AI-based design platforms and image generation tools, or the willingness to build that experience quickly.
- Strong visual sense, creativity, and attention to detail.
- Understanding of what digital marketing and social media content need from a design perspective.
- Ability to stay organized and handle several tasks or projects at once.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to interpret creative briefs accurately.
- Experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or a related area would be an advantage.
- A self-driven approach with curiosity to learn new tools, methods, and technologies.
- Comfort working independently in a remote setup while staying aligned with the team.
Responsibilities
- Develop polished product visuals, promotional banners, infographics, and campaign graphics using AI-assisted design tools.
- Create and refine lifestyle and marketing imagery through AI image-generation platforms while keeping the brand style intact.
- Adjust image sizes, crops, quality, and enhancements for use across Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Shopify, and social media.
- Maintain well-organized image folders and design files so assets are easy to find and versions remain controlled.
- Prepare visuals to meet marketplace rules, format standards, and platform-specific best practices.
- Build straightforward graphic layouts, product montages, and promotional creatives that communicate brand messaging clearly.
- Keep all visual materials consistent with brand guidelines.
- Support updates to product listings and digital content while ensuring the imagery remains accurate and attractive.
- Work from detailed design instructions and submit deliverables within agreed deadlines.
- Assist marketing and e-commerce teams with day-to-day creative work, including advertising visuals, email graphics, and social content.
- Stay up to date with new AI tools, design software, and emerging visual technologies to improve output and efficiency.
