About This Opportunity

The Junior Financial Operations Analyst will support the Operations and Divisional Control team by performing general accounting and financial analysis. This role is inherently cross-functional, requiring close collaboration with various departments including sales, design, planning, sourcing, production, engineering, manufacturing, and corporate accounting. The analyst will play a key part in supporting strategic business decisions through accurate financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in sourcing discussions and assist with price negotiations.
  • Compile and reconcile product costing data.
  • Manage and update financial matrices, including raw material pricing, purchasing records, and expense tracking.
  • Provide analytical support to senior management for informed pricing and strategic business decisions.
  • Verify the accuracy of invoices and expenses, investigating any discrepancies.
  • Generate various reports, such as sales/shipping forecasts, inventory analysis, and production allocation summaries.
  • Support operational oversight and facilitate issue resolution between production teams and manufacturing partners.
  • Conduct audits and approve travel and expense reports.

Qualifications

  • Possess 0 to 3 years of experience in operations, finance, or accounting.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, suitable for interacting with executive leadership and supply chain partners.
  • Exhibit strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Showcase strategic thinking and a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Maintain strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization abilities.
  • Be a collaborative team player while also capable of working independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions like Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and SUMIF.
  • Familiarity with Simparel and/or PLM systems is advantageous.
  • Hold a 4-year college degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive company information.

Additional Information

The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 annually.
