Role overview

It is currently looking for finance talent from across the world and can sponsor German visas for suitable candidates. This position sits within the Accounting team and supports accurate day-to-day finance operations that contribute to internal and external reporting as well as business decisions.
What you will do
- Review, process, and record incoming and outgoing invoices and receipts, including uploading them into the approval workflow and posting them in DATEV and SAP.
- Reconcile customer and supplier balances.
- Import and reconcile information from external payment providers.
- Check travel expense claims and support fixed asset accounting.
- Assist senior team members with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements.
- Support the completion of period-end closing activities.
- Help with administrative finance duties such as VAT submissions, statistical reporting, and company registrations.
What makes you a strong fit
- You have at least one year of professional accounting experience.
- You understand German GAAP and VAT well enough to apply them in day-to-day work; IFRS knowledge is an added advantage.
- You can communicate clearly in both German and English, spoken and written.
- You work effectively in a team and enjoy helping others succeed.
- You are careful with data, detail-oriented, and comfortable with a practical, hands-on working style.
- You use MS Excel confidently.
- You are open to process improvements and comfortable using AI tools to work more efficiently.
- Experience with SAP and DATEV is strongly preferred.
