About the Role
Research Made Clear is seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join their team in Berlin, Germany, on a full-time, onsite basis. This entry-level position is designed for recent graduates or professionals in the early stages of their career who have a strong passion for data and analytics. The successful candidate will contribute to data collection, reporting, and business intelligence efforts to support effective decision-making across the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, clean, verify, and structure data from different sources to maintain accuracy and uniformity.
- Examine datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights that can influence business strategies.
- Create recurring reports, dashboards, and visual data presentations to communicate findings to management and stakeholders.
- Help develop and sustain business intelligence reports and key performance metrics.
- Provide analytical assessments and recommendations to facilitate data-driven decisions.
- Track and monitor essential performance indicators to measure business outcomes.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses supporting operational, financial, marketing, and strategic projects.
- Work collaboratively with various teams to understand data needs and reporting objectives.
- Ensure data integrity and adherence to data governance policies.
- Contribute to process improvements by automating reports and refining data collection methodologies.

Candidate Requirements
- Fundamental understanding of data analysis principles, statistics, and reporting.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, including expertise in formulas, pivot tables, charts, and data manipulation.
- Basic familiarity with SQL for database querying and data extraction is preferred.
- Exposure to data visualization software such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, or comparable platforms is beneficial.
- Introductory knowledge of programming languages or analytics tools like Python or R is an advantage.
- Strong analytical thinking, critical reasoning, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Attention to detail with a strong commitment to data accuracy.
- Effective communication skills for clearly presenting analytical findings.
- Capability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
