Job description
About Noom
Noom is a consumer-focused digital health company with a mission to help people live healthier and longer lives. The company combines science, technology, coaching, community, and clinical support to help people build habits that last. As a fast-growing organization, Noom says its work has a real-world impact on people’s lives.
Team Overview
The Marketing team supports company growth by connecting people with programs that improve health outcomes. Within that team, performance creative plays a central role by shaping ideas into direct-response advertising that drives conversions.
Role Summary
Noom is hiring a Performance Creative Strategist to support its Growth Marketing function. The position focuses on building effective creative for paid acquisition channels by developing creative briefs, writing UGC scripts, and helping manage the full creative process from insight gathering through production and launch. The role sits between creativity and business goals, requiring close collaboration with Marketing, Product, Legal, designers, media buyers, and agencies to turn product and compliance requirements into clear advertising.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is curious, proactive, organized, and comfortable taking ownership while also contributing to larger team projects. The position reports to the Senior Creative Strategist and helps expand Noom’s creative performance capabilities.
Key Duties
- Lead the daily creative direction for evergreen paid campaigns across Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, and similar channels, from concepting and briefing through final sign-off.
- Create clear creative briefs that convert business goals into practical direction for designers and outside partners.
- Review account trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to inform creative direction.
- Work closely with designers, media buyers, and agencies to move projects from ideas into final assets.
- Test and refine concepts repeatedly to improve campaign performance.
- Keep content output strong and consistent so the right creative assets are always live.
- Track deadlines and coordinate workflows to ensure production stays on schedule.
- Use AI tools in the creative workflow to improve understanding and speed up production.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is someone who wants to help shape the future of health through high-impact performance creative. Success in this role depends on strong initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-moving, high-volume environment with some ambiguity.
Requirements
- At least 2–3+ years of experience in creative strategy, performance creative, or a related role such as media buying, art direction, or DTC copywriting.
- Practical experience creating or briefing direct-response ads, UGC, or testimonial-style content.
- Strong writing ability, especially for creative briefs and campaign direction.
- Experience collaborating with designers and/or external creative partners across functions.
- Prior experience at a DTC, digital-first, or high-growth startup brand is preferred.
- Comfort working through ambiguity, rapid iteration, and high content volume.
What Makes This Opportunity Appealing
- Real ownership over the paid creative workstream.
- The chance to contribute to a mission centered on healthier habits and longer lives.
- A collaborative environment with direct access to senior creative leadership.
Compensation and Benefits
The posted base salary range for this position is $59,130 to $77,300, with actual pay determined by relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and location. Additional rewards include a 401(k) with company match, paid holidays, generous paid time off, Summer Fridays, a company-wide Summer Break week, medical coverage for employees and families including a premium-free option, dental, vision, and life insurance, paid parental leave, stock awards, a performance-based bonus, and access to Noom’s products.
