About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Newly/Part Qualified Accountant to join a dynamic Finance team within a regulated international organisation. This role reports directly to the Financial Reporting Lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of quarterly, annual, and ad hoc financial reporting deliverables in accordance with relevant accounting and regulatory requirements. This includes consolidated management reporting, financial performance analysis and reporting, statutory financial statements, regulatory and compliance submissions, and treasury and funding-related reporting.
- Assist in enhancing financial reporting processes, controls, and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Contribute to finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives across the wider Finance function.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance and other business areas to ensure effective communication and delivery of reporting requirements.
- Support adherence to internal governance, control, and risk management frameworks.
Candidate Profile
- Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Possess 2–3 years of experience within financial services, insurance, banking, or a specialised finance environment.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Exhibit a good understanding of financial accounting principles and reporting controls.
- Possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with group or consolidated reporting is required.
- Exposure to financial reporting systems or ERP platforms is advantageous.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Exhibit a collaborative and adaptable approach with strong team-working skills.
