The Junior Accountant will support accounting and financial reporting for UK partnerships and operator relationships. This position acts as a key connection point between the London team and accounting colleagues in the United States, helping ensure financial information is accurate, complete, and delivered on time. The role calls for a detail-focused accounting professional with solid knowledge of financial statements, internal controls, and reporting across multiple entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate financial information shared between UK business partners/operators and internal as well as external stakeholders.
- Complete monthly uploads of financial data and reconcile submissions received from operators.
- Build supporting workpapers and carry out monthly internal control steps for partnership accounting.
- Combine operator data for financial reporting, non-financial reporting, and performance review.
- Prepare accurate partnership financial statements using accounting systems and aligned with applicable standards.
- Compute and process monthly distributions for UK-based business partners.
- Help gather and review data needed for tax preparation and compliance activities.
- Support internal and external audits by supplying documentation and addressing auditor questions.
- Review monthly operator submissions at an initial stage and look into unusual items, variances, or inconsistencies.
Work Arrangement
This is a fully office-based position located in Central London, with minimal to no travel expected.
