Job description
Job Overview
We are looking for a diligent and skilled Accountant to join our finance team. This role demands precision in handling financial data, preparing essential reports, and maintaining adherence to applicable accounting standards and regulations in a client-facing capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep precise bookkeeping records and perform regular reconciliation of clients' general ledger accounts.
- Compile monthly journal entries, execute necessary adjustments, and assist with month-end closing procedures.
- Regularly update and reconcile ledgers related to affiliated parties.
- Assist with VAT compliance, tax filings, and maintain comprehensive financial documentation using ERP and accounting software platforms.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant discipline.
- At least one year of professional accounting experience, ideally with client interaction.
- Proficiency in ERP accounting systems and strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with UAE VAT and tax laws is advantageous.
- Excellent analytical abilities coupled with strong communication and organizational competencies.
- Fluency in English is required.
