About the Role

The Jr. Business Intelligence Analyst will play a key role in maintaining accurate, reliable enterprise reporting and smooth data integration processes at Snap-on's Libertyville, IL location. The role focuses on the development and support of the SAP Business Objects reporting framework and the monitoring and troubleshooting of SAP Data Services workflows. Ensuring timely delivery of reports and preserving data quality are critical to aiding business operations. Success requires robust technical skills, proactive support, and clear communication with both technical teams and business users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and sustain reports through SAP Business Objects tools such as Web Intelligence and Universe Design Tool.
  • Build and update Business Objects Universes informed by business needs and data models.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to collect requirements and convert them into useful reporting solutions.
  • Assist business users with report testing, troubleshooting, scheduling updates, and managing report access.
  • Oversee, plan, and solve issues within SAP Data Services jobs to guarantee prompt and precise data loading.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of data between Data Services, data warehouse, and Business Objects outputs.
  • Document reporting frameworks, data terminologies, and ETL workflows thoroughly.
  • Offer user training and support when necessary.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Practical experience managing SAP Data Services jobs with monitoring and error resolution.
  • At least two years working with SAP Business Objects Web Intelligence reporting and universe creation.
  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong SQL skills and familiarity with relational database platforms including SQL Server, Oracle, and SAP HANA.
  • Understanding of ETL methodologies, data warehouse designs, and reporting standards.
  • Background in production support environments with an emphasis on swift issue resolution.

Compensation

The offered salary ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 annually, dependent on skills and experience level.
