About the Role

This Job Coach position is ideal for someone who is empathetic, persistent, and motivated by helping others progress. You will join a team guided by Integrity, Compassion, Determination, and Thriving Together.

The role centres on helping clients grow in confidence, strengthen work-readiness, and move toward lasting employment. You’ll be able to see the direct effect of your support in the outcomes clients achieve.

Key Duties

  • Encourage and coach clients through personalised activities that advance their employment goals.
  • Partner with employers and the Employer Engagement team to match clients with appropriate vacancies.
  • Support clients in securing long-term work and assist when they are at risk of employment loss.
  • Work alongside internal teams and external organisations to connect clients with suitable services and programs.
  • Keep records up to date and make sure all work aligns with compliance expectations.

Requirements

Previous experience in employment services is not required, as full training will be provided.

  • Background in customer service or another client-facing role.
  • Strong motivation to help people overcome obstacles.
  • Clear communication skills and confidence dealing with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to stay organised and perform well in a structured, target-focused environment.
  • Valid driver’s licence.
