Job Summary

The Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly facility by performing various cleaning tasks. This includes operating floor cleaning machinery, disinfecting surfaces, and managing waste and recycling disposal.

Roles and Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of interior building spaces, including floors, carpets, walls, and windows.
• Ensure the tidiness of outdoor storage areas and parking lots, removing debris from sidewalks and aisles.
• Assist with the maintenance of HVAC systems by replacing air filters.
• Empty trash receptacles and recycling bins regularly.
• Obtain and maintain necessary certifications, such as for forklift operation, coordinating with supervisors and EHS resources.
• Conduct pre-use preventative maintenance checks on equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Complete required maintenance checklists and submit maintenance requests as needed.
• Perform other assigned duties within the scope of the role.
