Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Janitor to maintain cleanliness and order within assigned facilities, specifically at the Nestle site located at 266 Industrial Park Road, Hartwell, GA 30643. The role involves performing extensive cleaning duties, including floor care, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, as well as waste removal, to foster a safe and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and dispose of trash in alignment with approved protocols and infection control measures.
• Dust and damp mop floors following established cleaning procedures.
• Rearrange equipment and furniture to enable thorough cleaning, ensuring correct placement afterward.
• Use designated materials and equipment to sanitize all surfaces, adhering to the eight-step cleaning process.
• Clean walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other surfaces to sustain cleanliness and safety.
• Identify and proactively address areas requiring sanitation.
• Execute all tasks delegated by supervisors.
• Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors; shampoo carpets as needed.
• Contribute to team efforts and maintain professional conduct with colleagues and customers.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications and Preferences

Previous experience in janitorial, industrial cleaning, warehouse cleaning, and warehouse safety is preferred.

Schedule and Compensation

This is a full-time role with variable days and hours, details of which will be discussed during the interview. The position offers a fixed hourly wage of $16.06.
