Job Description

As a Janitor, you will perform comprehensive cleaning and maintenance duties across assigned areas within buildings or at multiple client locations. Flexibility is essential, as duties may vary depending on specific client requirements.

Work Schedule and Compensation

• Full-time positions available across all shifts
• Hourly wage: $17.00
• Weekly pay schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Clean floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
• Utilize chemical cleaners and power equipment properly to avoid damage to floors and property
• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entryways
• Empty trash receptacles and manage waste disposal, including compactors when applicable
• Clean glass surfaces such as windows, partitions, and mirrors using suitable cleaning agents and tools
• Perform spot cleaning on carpets and assist with carpet shampooing and extraction
• Restock paper goods and sanitary supplies as needed
• Adhere to a structured housekeeping schedule
• Operate heavy cleaning machinery like floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers occasionally
• Carry out additional tasks as required by the scope of work or client demands

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or at least six months of experience in a janitorial role
• Willingness to undergo on-the-job training
• Keen attention to detail
• Ability to understand and follow instructions precisely

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience
• Knowledge of custodial processes and commercial cleaning standards
• Expertise in floor maintenance techniques such as buffing and waxing
• Experience related to industrial cleaning or facilities upkeep
