Role overview
Avensys Consulting, a Singapore-based global IT services firm, is looking for an ITSM Analyst to support an enterprise client in Singapore. This position is a 1-year contract that may be extended, and the work pattern is rotational shift with 24/7 support coverage.
What the role covers
The selected professional will own key IT Service Management activities end to end, including incident handling, problem management, change control, and infrastructure release coordination. The role is centered on maintaining service stability, reducing business disruption, and keeping critical support processes running smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of ITSM processes such as Incident, Problem, Change, and Infrastructure Release Management.
- Handle major incidents at P1 and P2 severity and coordinate timely resolution.
- Lead root cause analysis activities and help drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Oversee infrastructure releases while minimizing impact to business operations.
- Monitor and support SLA adherence across assigned service activities.
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders during incidents, changes, and service disruptions.
- Contribute to ongoing service improvement initiatives to strengthen operational reliability.
Required background
This role calls for at least 2 years of relevant experience in IT service management or production support environments. Strong working knowledge of ITIL practices is essential, along with direct experience in major incident management and commonly used ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow or Remedy.
Working arrangement
This is a contract role based in Singapore, with onsite work expected and rotational shifts to support round-the-clock operations.
