IT Systems Administrator

A reputable professional services firm is looking for a skilled IT Systems Administrator to join their expanding internal technology department. Responsibilities

• Overseeing and maintaining Windows Server and Microsoft 365 ecosystems.
• Managing core services such as Active Directory, Azure AD, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Providing support for Exchange Online, Intune, SharePoint, Teams, and associated services.
• Continuously monitoring the performance of IT infrastructure and proactively addressing any technical challenges.
• Supporting various networking technologies, including Cisco and Meraki setups.
• Contributing to cybersecurity efforts, including patching, firewall management, VPNs, and compliance adherence.
• Serving as a primary point of escalation for technical support inquiries.
• Collaborating effectively with external vendors and internal teams.

Requirements

• Substantial experience in Systems Administration within large-scale enterprise settings.
• Proficiency in Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and virtualised infrastructure technologies.
• Comprehensive understanding of networking concepts, including switches, routers, VPNs, and wireless systems.
• Familiarity with security tools and established infrastructure security protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Prior experience with SQL Server and enterprise applications is advantageous.
• Exposure to the professional services sector is considered a plus.
