Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Engineer Tier III to join our team for ongoing project engineering needs. This role offers flexibility for both on-site and remote work, with the potential for over 40 hours per week. The position requires a blend of technical expertise and strong client-facing skills to manage diverse IT environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead network deployments and configurations, including firewalls, switches, VLANs, Wi-Fi, and VPNs.
- Manage and integrate access control systems, such as badge readers and door controllers.
- Oversee the setup of security camera systems, including IP cameras, NVRs, and remote access configurations.
- Coordinate with ISPs for WAN setup, circuit provisioning, and failover testing.
- Execute server rack build-outs and meticulous cable management, including UPS integration.
- Facilitate cloud migrations to platforms like Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, AWS, and Azure.
- Handle IT infrastructure build-outs for offices and set up conference room AV systems.
- Manage procurement and hardware staging, including BOM review and pre-configuration.
- Liaise with external vendors such as cabling, AV, and electrical contractors.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including network diagrams and SOPs.
- Oversee project coordination, task tracking, and milestone reporting.
- Provide client support and onboarding, including email setup and system training.
- Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Adapt and multitask effectively across various IT infrastructures.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal teams and clients.
