Role overview
This short-term contract is for an IT Support Engineer to assist with a laptop deployment assignment in Munich for a global technology client.
Engagement details
The assignment runs for 2 months and is expected to begin immediately. The role is based onsite in Munich and involves full-time hours of around 30 to 40 hours each week.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and roll out Windows laptops for end users.
- Install required software and create or configure user accounts.
- Assist with device imaging and provisioning activities.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems as they arise.
Requirements
- 1 to 5 years of prior experience in IT Support, Desktop Support, or Workplace Support.
- Working knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments.
- Good communication abilities and a practical, hands-on working style.
- Legal permission to work in Germany as a freelancer or contractor.
- Full working rights or an EU Blue Card with eligibility to work in Germany on a contractor/freelancer basis is mandatory.
