Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking an IT Support Analyst specializing in Pensions to become part of our expanding Application Services team based in Dublin. This role plays a vital part in maintaining essential business applications and processes that support our pensions operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily operational support for business applications and services.
  • Handle and coordinate queries, incidents, and service requests systematically.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and third-party vendors to ensure prompt issue resolution.
  • Conduct investigations into operational incidents and support root cause analyses.
  • Keep thorough documentation, logs, and process records up to date.
  • Identify improvement opportunities for processes, controls, and workflow practices.
  • Assist with data validation, reporting, dashboard updates, and management information tasks.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and prepare business units for new implementations.
  • Contribute to project execution, change management, and post-implementation support.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience in supporting business applications, systems, or operational workflows.
  • Good understanding of business processes integrated with technology systems.
  • Familiarity with incident management, service management, and ticketing platforms.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving acumen.
  • Experience generating reports, analyzing data, and maintaining management information.
  • Participation or support in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Knowledge or experience within pensions, protection, insurance, or financial services sectors is a plus.
