Job description
Role Overview
This position sits within a senior-level track where the incumbent is expected to work largely on their own, with limited guidance, toward long-term objectives. The role also involves acting as a subject-matter advisor and facilitator, helping others execute operational work effectively.
Core Mission
The main focus of this job is to provide specialist support in shaping ZATCA’s guidelines and standards for IT infrastructure and network delivery. The role includes overseeing the preparation of infrastructure and network project and installation plans, supporting the execution of related projects, offering recommendations and corrective actions during testing, and reviewing implementation documentation to ensure it is complete and accurate.
Role Levels and Scope
Delivery and Testing Lead Specialist: This level works under general direction and handles complex operational work. Responsibilities include helping develop delivery standards, preparing project and installation plans, following project progress, carrying out testing for infrastructure and network components and capabilities, advising on corrective actions, and overseeing project documentation and updates.
Delivery and Testing Senior Specialist: This level works with minimal supervision and uses established procedures to produce specialized or ad hoc reports. The role contributes to milestones and operational targets by supporting guideline and project plan development, assisting with project delivery and component installation, participating in testing, and documenting project information with vendors and related teams.
Delivery and Testing Specialist: This level handles assigned tasks independently but under close supervision. Work includes gathering inputs for delivery guidelines and standards, collecting requirements from stakeholders for project plans, preparing inputs needed for project and installation execution, and participating in documentation efforts alongside vendors and internal stakeholders.
Education
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent discipline is mandatory. A master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a similar field is preferred.
Experience
Applicants should have at least 5 years of relevant experience.
