Role Overview
The IT Analyst will be responsible for managing IT operations across designated remote sites to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient technological support for warehouse, logistics, and industrial activities. This role serves as the main IT liaison for site management and involves overseeing daily site IT tasks, coordinating with field support and third-party vendors, and ensuring adherence to corporate IT policies.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary IT contact for assigned remote locations.
- Implement ASMO's IT infrastructure and service management strategies at remote sites.
- Ensure compliance with IT governance, cybersecurity policies, and architecture standards.
- Participate in technology planning, infrastructure lifecycle management, and site readiness.
- Support business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives.
- Detect operational risks and propose mitigation plans.
- Manage incident, service request, problem, and change management processes.
- Oversee availability and performance of IT infrastructure including network, wireless, end-user computing, printing, and collaboration systems.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance, upgrades, preventive services, deployments, relocations, expansions, and commissioning.
- Maintain precise asset inventories and documentation.
- Monitor site health and proactively identify infrastructure and service management risks.
- Ensure SLA adherence for incidents and service requests.
- Deliver Level 2 and Level 3 onsite technical support.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot end-user computers, operational hardware, and network components.
- Support warehouse management system connectivity and availability.
- Coordinate and communicate with ISPs, managed service providers, and third-party vendors during incidents.
- Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN connectivity issues.
- Perform hardware replacements and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Lead and mentor onsite IT operators and MSP personnel.
- Share technical knowledge and standard operation procedures.
- Assist in onboarding new technical staff.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Service Desk, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Business Applications, Facilities Management, Warehouse Operations, and Project Management Office.
- Optimize IT asset utilization and reduce downtime and replacement costs.
- Participate in inventory checks and asset lifecycle management.
- Support cost-effective vendor engagements and validate deliverables before acceptance.
- Contribute to procurement activities and technical evaluations as necessary.
- Execute approved infrastructure and service management changes, participate in Change Advisory Board activities, verify post-change stability, and document outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL processes, corporate and security standards.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation including network diagrams, asset records, configuration files, site documentation, and knowledge articles.
- Generate regular operational and performance reports, monitor site health, infrastructure availability, SLA adherence, and major incidents.
- Recommend operational enhancements, technology upgrades, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Track recurring issues and coordinate long-term solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar IT analyst role.
- Preferred certifications include ITIL Foundation, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft certifications, CompTIA Network+, and Project Management credentials.
