Irrigation Foreman

Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Foreman to work directly with our Irrigation Engineer. This position involves leading and supervising irrigation project activities to ensure they are completed efficiently and to high quality standards throughout all project stages, from initial mobilization to final demobilization.

Primary Duties

• Oversee irrigation operations to guarantee timely and precise execution according to project requirements.
• Manage and document any alterations in project scope, communicating changes effectively to relevant parties.
• Collaborate with the Planner to maintain and update project timelines and schedules.
• Support procurement processes by assisting in obtaining approvals for materials and work from Quality Control teams and clients.
• Analyze project documentation and schedules to fully comprehend work scopes and deadlines.
• Monitor resource allocation to prevent overuse and secure adequate availability throughout the project.
• Ensure materials and equipment are handled safely and stored correctly upon delivery.
• Coordinate the mobilization and demobilization of all project resources as required.
• Perform inspections at various project phases to verify compliance with relevant codes, standards, and internal procedures.
• Detect and address non-conformance issues promptly, assisting in acquiring client approvals for ongoing activities.
• Keep detailed daily work reports including accurate calculation and recording of man-hours.
• Provide regular project updates and assist in adjusting baseline programs alongside the Planner.

Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated experience in irrigation projects or comparable construction roles.
• In-depth understanding of irrigation systems, applicable construction codes, and quality control standards.
• Effective coordination skills for working with diverse project teams, clients, and consultants.
• Strong organizational capabilities coupled with problem-solving aptitude.
• Firm dedication to maintaining safety, quality assurance, and meeting deadlines.
