Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Steel Fixer to become a part of our building maintenance team in Dubai. The role involves handling the cutting, bending, placement, and securing of reinforcing steel bars (rebar) for various repair, renovation, and maintenance assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret construction blueprints and bar bending schedules accurately.
• Cut, bend, and install reinforcement steel in line with project requirements.
• Set up rebar for concrete restoration and structural reinforcement tasks.
• Use appropriate tools and methods to tie reinforcement firmly.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and quality standards in all work undertaken.
• Collaborate closely with supervisors and other on-site trade professionals.
• Keep tools maintained and ensure the workspace remains tidy and secure.

Candidate Requirements

• At least one year of experience working as a Steel Fixer.
• Previous involvement in building maintenance or construction projects.
• Competence in reading reinforcement drawings.
• Physical fitness to work in outdoor environments.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety protocols.
