Job description
Role Overview
The Investment Specialist will be responsible for researching and promoting investment chances, interfacing with investors and key parties, preparing analytical studies and comprehensive reports, and managing the procedures of offering and awarding investments. The goal is to successfully meet investment targets and improve the management effectiveness of investment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and prepare investment opportunities ensuring complete compliance with offering prerequisites.
- Perform market research to identify emerging investment prospects.
- Examine economic and financial feasibility studies to determine the viability of investment projects to inform strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to fulfill technical and regulatory requirements.
- Handle investor queries by reviewing and responding to their requests.
- Oversee tendering, awarding, and contracting procedures related to investments.
- Compile regular reports and track key performance indicators concerning investment opportunities.
- Maintain and update investment databases including contracts and related documentation.
- Supervise the progress of assigned investment projects and initiatives.
- Assist in preparing presentations, memoranda, and official communications.
- Carry out additional tasks pertinent to the role as directed by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Investment, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related disciplines.
- Professional certifications are desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong analytical abilities for preparing studies and detailed reports.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent skills in communication, negotiation, and coordinating with various stakeholders.
- Experience in investment, project management, business development, or contract management is advantageous.
