Position Overview

Rockefeller Capital Management is actively seeking an enthusiastic and accomplished Investment Banking Analyst to join its Investment Banking division. This position offers exposure to a spectrum of transactions, such as sell-side and buy-side mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, spin-offs, capital raising through debt and equity, special committee engagements, direct and co-investments, and evaluating strategic alternatives.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct financial analyses and build models using diverse valuation methodologies.
  • Prepare presentation materials for client discussions.
  • Draft memorandum for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Carry out financial and business-related research tasks.
  • Manage complex, time-sensitive workflows efficiently.
  • Participate directly in client-facing engagements.
  • Support transaction execution processes.
  • Contribute to talent development through recruiting and training initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills

  • One to three years’ experience as an Investment Banking Analyst is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a comparable discipline.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and financial data platforms.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of corporate finance and financial accounting principles.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and consistent delivery of high-quality work.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines with precision under pressure.
  • Strong time management capabilities and adaptability to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Initiative, assertiveness, strong work ethic, and a results-driven mindset.
  • Experience with financial valuation, modeling, and forecasting techniques.
  • Analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills with creativity and resourcefulness.
  • Professional demeanor combined with the ability to manage sensitive information discreetly.
  • Competence in utilizing AI tools, such as Microsoft Copilot, to enhance efficiency.

Compensation and Benefits

The role offers an estimated base salary ranging from $105,000 to $110,000, varying based on qualifications, skills, and experience. Additionally, this position may qualify for a discretionary bonus.
