Role overview
An investment banking analyst opportunity is available in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania with a boutique advisory team. The position centers on supporting live transactions, building financial models, carrying out valuation work, and helping prepare client-facing materials. You’ll collaborate closely with senior bankers and gain exposure to deal execution, client advisory, and transaction support across the full process.
Compensation and schedule
The annual base salary is $80,000 to $90,000, plus bonus. This is a permanent contingency role. The work schedule runs Monday through Friday and is based entirely in the office.
Key responsibilities
- Create and maintain detailed financial models, including three-statement operating models and transaction analysis models.
- Run valuation analyses such as comparable company reviews and precedent transaction comparisons.
- Assist with M&A deals from early-stage review through closing and follow-up support after completion.
- Draft presentations, reports, and other materials used in client and transaction discussions.
- Research industries, markets, and target companies to support active engagements.
- Partner with senior bankers and deal teams to keep transactions organized and moving forward.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related discipline is required.
- One to two years of experience in investment banking, transaction services, or a similar area is required.
- Working knowledge of M&A processes, valuation methods, and financial modeling is expected.
- Strong command of Excel, PowerPoint, and advanced financial modeling is required.
- The role calls for sharp analytical ability, strong attention to detail, and comfort working in a fast-paced setting.
- Candidates should have strong ties to the Greater Philadelphia area.
