Position Overview
Cerity Partners Ventures (CPV) is looking to add Investment Associates to its Built World and Technology investment teams. Originally launched as Touchdown Ventures in 2014, CPV helped define the Venture Capital-as-a-Service model for corporations and has partnered with major brands including Kellogg, T-Mobile, BEHR, and others. The firm now includes more than 50 investment professionals across Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, and San Francisco, and oversees over 20 corporate venture capital funds.
In this role, you will join a dedicated fund team investing in areas such as AI, insurtech, home services, construction technology, building products, and adjacent sectors within the broader Built World practice. The position involves helping uncover venture opportunities while supporting the innovation goals of leading corporations. This is an entrepreneurial opportunity within a growing organization, with room for professional development and advancement. The role is based in San Francisco.
Key Responsibilities
- Discover promising early-stage companies and develop connections with founding teams.
- Engage with entrepreneurs to assess business plans, pitch materials, and company potential.
- Maintain records and provide updates on deal flow created by the team.
- Conduct research on industries, emerging trends, and market conditions.
- Support the due diligence process on prospective investments.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- Between 1 and 3 years of relevant professional experience is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this position is $100,000 to $115,000.
