About the Role
Camden Recruitment Partners is collaborating with a prominent mid-market private equity firm to recruit an Investment Analyst for their Dublin-based investment team. This role offers a unique chance to work on a highly active fund, engaging closely with seasoned investors on diverse high-quality transactions spanning multiple sectors. The position provides full exposure to the investment lifecycle from deal origination and execution through portfolio management and eventual exit.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and screen new investment opportunities thoroughly.
- Develop comprehensive financial models and conduct valuation analyses such as LBO, DCF, and comparable company assessments.
- Assist in due diligence processes, transaction execution, and deal structuring activities.
- Prepare detailed investment reports, financial assessments, and recommendation documents for presentation to the Investment Committee.
- Research market trends, industry dynamics, and competitor landscapes to inform investment decisions.
- Monitor financial and operational KPIs of portfolio companies to track performance.
- Collaborate with management teams to foster strategic initiatives and enhance value creation.
- Support portfolio reviews, refinancing efforts, and exit strategy planning.
Candidate Requirements
- Between three to six years of professional experience in private equity, investment banking, leveraged finance, corporate finance, or transaction advisory roles.
- Proficient in financial modelling, valuation techniques, and analytical reasoning.
- Demonstrates strong commercial judgement paired with rigorous attention to detail.
- Exceptional academic achievements.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills capable of confidently engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Professional qualifications such as ACA, CFA, or their equivalents are considered beneficial.
