Job Overview
VM Ventures is seeking a dedicated and diligent Inventory Executive to support our e-commerce warehouse located in Mayapuri, Delhi. This role focuses on performing accurate inventory management tasks within platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Quick Commerce, and the warehouse's own systems.
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct physical stock counts and regular cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Reconcile physical stock data with software inventory records, identifying and investigating any variances.
- Maintain thorough inventory documentation using Microsoft Excel.
- Record all stock movements including inward and outward transactions.
- Liaise with packing and dispatch teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in logistical tasks such as loading, unloading, and relocating stock as necessary.
- Carry out periodic audits of warehouse inventory to uphold data integrity.
- Generate and present inventory reports to management for operational insights.
Candidate Requirements
- Between 1 to 3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or stock auditing.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, specifically Amazon and Flipkart, is advantageous.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel including the use of VLOOKUP, filters, sorting, and basic formulas.
- Excellent numerical aptitude coupled with keen attention to detail.
- Physically able to perform labor-intensive tasks such as lifting cartons and working within a warehouse setting.
- Demonstrates honesty, discipline, and a responsible work ethic.
- Experience with inventory software or warehouse management systems is preferred.
Desired Experience
- Handling Amazon FBA inventory processes.
- Participation in e-commerce warehouse operations.
- Hands-on experience with Order Management Systems (OMS) or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Use of barcode scanning technology and conducting stock reconciliations.
