About the Role
This opportunity is with PwC Acceleration Center India in Hyderabad, where you will contribute to finance operations for clients and internal stakeholders across multiple geographies and regulatory environments. The role sits within Internal Firm Services and is designed for someone who can work in a global, collaborative setup while supporting high-quality financial processes and insights.
As an International Accounting Senior Associate, you will help manage core accounting and finance activities, strengthen compliance, and support decision-making through analysis, reporting, and controls. The position calls for someone comfortable handling complexity, learning continuously, and building strong working relationships while delivering accurate work in a fast-moving environment.
Role Details
Location: Hyderabad, India
Experience: 2 to 6 years
Shift timing: 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee financial processes while ensuring adherence to applicable policies and regulations.
- Perform budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decisions.
- Prepare, review, and interpret financial reports to share useful recommendations.
- Track financial movements and trends to help shape strategic direction.
- Analyze balance sheet items and cash flow to improve financial performance.
- Design and maintain internal controls that support compliance and sound practices.
- Apply accounting standards and procedures to day-to-day finance operations.
- Carry out profit and loss analysis to identify areas for improvement.
- Support financial data extraction and analysis to improve reporting accuracy.
- Assist with month-end or financial close activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Work with cross-functional teams to manage escalations and resolve finance-related issues.
- Contribute to client relationship building while developing leadership and team-influence skills.
- Handle challenging situations with professionalism, sound judgment, and adaptability.
Requirements
- You should hold a graduate or postgraduate degree, or an equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience is required.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English are necessary.
- Hands-on knowledge of accounting policies and standard finance practices is expected.
- Ability to analyze balance sheets, financial statements, cash flow, and profit and loss is important.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and trend analysis will be valuable.
- Capability in internal controls, escalation handling, and data-driven problem solving is needed.
